One of three open proposals on the table for continued astronomy development on Mauna Kea's sacred summit, the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) and accompanying office building, road, parking lot, and proposed gift shop will be the largest expansion of industrial land use in over a decade.
Now, TMT Corporation is applying for a permit to build its massive observatory complex on undeveloped conservation lands on Mauna Kea's summit.
There are two public hearings scheduled by DLNR in December, one in Hilo (Dec 2), and one in Kona (Dec 3). Aloha Mauna Kea, and show your support!
